About me
MaryAnn Goodwin resides in Neptune, NJ. She received a BFA with a major in painting and minor in graphic design from Caldwell University. MaryAnn was a graphic artist and art director for the Graphics department at Monmouth County Park System. She was an award winning graphic designer; creating gold medal designs of newsletters, annual reports, wayside signage and interpretive displays developed for public information throughout county park locations
MaryAnn works in watercolor and acrylic. In 2020 MaryAnn painted a mural for Huber Woods Environmental Center. In 2019 she was selected for Art on Pier in Long Branch, to create a public art display. She currently teaches watercolor and drawing at The Jersey Shore Art Center and the Monmouth County Park System. She exhibits throughout the tri-state area; recently winning the 2022 Merit Award for watercolor in the Guild of Creative Arts Annual Juried Show and the 2021 Audubon Artists Honorary John M. Angelini Memorial Award in Aquamedia. She is an elected member of New Jersey Water Color Society, a signature member of Garden State Watercolor Society, a board member for The Guild of Creative Arts, and associate member of Audubon Artists, Art Alliance of Monmouth County, Belmar Arts Center, Manasquan River Group of Artists, Monmouth Arts Foundation.
